Bugle question: Is this a location bugle?

It's fairly easy to imitate this sound with a bugle tube and I would imagine it is just a location bugle since it doesn't sound aggressive at all. Just curious.

I set the video to start right at the bugle but if not, its at 1:47

That bull is advertising himself. It's in an effort to draw more cows his way. You will notice bulls doing this as they hold their position or basically stick to an area giving his location to any cows interested.

Location bugles are generally used by bulls as they are on the move looking for other elk. They do not stay in one spot to locate no more than we do when Bugling in a Run & Gun style!
