Recently picked up a .300 WSM Ridgeline. Generally liked the rifle and early loads showed promise, but it felt imbalanced, which is to say butt-heavy. After some research, I stumbled across a lightweight stock option recently offered up by Stockys. I previously posted some photos comparing the factory/replacement for what it's worth. In a nutshell, the factory stock weighted 36 ounces, and the Stockys replacement weighed 23 ounces.

Got the rifle back from my smith yesterday after he finished bedding it. The weight came in at 5.8 pounds...which is pretty light given the 24" barrel in particular. The new stock didn't seem to hurt the accuracy even a little either. Bottom two groups are factory 190 LRABs, and top group is factory 200 ELD-Xs.

Can't recommend this stock enough as a relatively inexpensive alternative to the factory stock it comes with.

That's awesome, the ridgeline needs more guys like you that have made changes to post them. Which stock did you go with? Did it provide enough comb height for you to get a good cheek weld?
