I picked up a solo stove last year. I know they are expensive but I haven’t heard my wife complain about smoke since I got it. We use it in the backyard all the time too.

No offense taken! I’m the one who admitted I pick horrible gift ideas.

They are more excited than I am-that’s why I wanted gifts relating to the camper, bc that’s what the FBI calls a “clue” and I’m starting there.....I’m a slow learner!

OK, good, I re-read my post and thought it sounded like I am an ashole, that wasnt my intention! Thats awesome that they enjoy it so much! My wife and kids go with me, but I feel like its something they would likely never do on their own. When we go on big epic trips to National Parks or trips that I have spent hours planning campsites and logistics for, I always try and schedule a stop at a hotel for them! LOL
