In the past I've set my chrono up 15' in front of the bench and its worked great. However I plan on shooting tomorrow with no bench around - any issue just setting the chrono on the ground and using a target that is low to the ground too?

I used a 2x6 pointed at the target and a couple bricks under it and done it before. I actually had 3 in a row to check data from each.

ive done it several times with no issues. sometimes i will lay a sandbag on top between the screens to keep it from jumping around

This^^^. Or get a Labradar or Magnetospeed and it won't much matter.

Yep, I’ve got both and they both have plus and minuses. For a tighter budget just get a magneto sporter (I think that’s what it’s called???). But the labradar is really nice...I haven’t touched my magneto speed since adding it to the quiver.

Shot yesterday, worked fine prone. Was very surprised I could see the sun shade legs through my AMG at 6x at 15 feet haha.
