Between the Sawtooth and redcliff wich one do you prefer and why?

I’m going to leave the question to @colonel00 as all 3 are his and I was looking at one to buy for a Alaska hunt. He was nice enough to allow me to set all 3 up and look at them since I have never used a tipi before.

Anyone used these Tipis in high wind? Or really bad high mountain storms?

I’ve spent some sleepless nights in the high country in my cimarron. Pretty unnerving on the top of a mountain in high winds, holding onto the center pole.

But the tent never gave up. I typically pitch mine a little higher for airflow (linelocks and extensions), but I wasn’t ready for this. Without resetting the tent, I found a few logs and placed along the edges of the wind side and that helped.
