Colorado Successful Draw vs. Montana General Tag

Just looking for some input - I drew a Colorado tag as well as a general big game tag in Montana. The unit in Colorado was a new draw unit that had been OTC in prior years. Curious as to what others would have done if they had to pick between the two. Thanks.

Montana public in the NW is total crap. Thats all the input i have though.

I was one of the few that did not draw MT w/ 2 points, so I took one of the new draw units in CO that I had for 2nd choice.. If I ever get into that situation again, I'll take the tag money and pay someone to repeatedly kick me in the balls. Those new draw units were full elk that had a bad gag reflex when they bugled Hope ya picked MT.

The one dude recommending Colorado is giving you the old “hey don’t look over here, what’s that over there!!!”

The area we hunt in CO is one the units that just went from OTC to a draw. The access and the terrain is essentially a continual kick in the nuts the whole way through. Good times. Never hunted Montana
