DIY Havel scalpel handel

Has any one gotten a Havel # 8 scalpel Handel and did some modifications to the handle? I just got one and it's a bit small in the hand. Looking for some ideas to beef it up a little

Wrap it in duct tape until it gets thick enough.

Never had a good reason to change them but I am interested to see what you come up with.

Go to a veterinary clinic and look at Expandover elastic tape or Elastikon. Both have some stretch to them have very good adhesive and come in different widths,2 to 4 inches. It will not be slick like duct tape.
