Early states to hunt

What states offer the earliest opening day for a big game hunt. I'm trying to figure out an August hunt for 2017 and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations? I'm open for any O.C. hunt, archery or rifle. Leaning towards antelope or mule deer hunt. Thanks in advance

Nevada and Colorado (CO-depending on the year). CO typically has a last week of August opener. A lot of the western states have an Aug 15 antelope hunt as well.

SD and WY both have OC antelope that open in August.

Mule deer in SD doesn't open until end of Sept.

Utah archery deer opens Aug 20 this year. Think I've seen it as early as the 15th. You would have to put in ahead of time (in March) though so not truly OTC.

California has some zones that open in July for Blacktail. Not sure if it's OTC or not though.

Ca blacktail Azone archery starts second saturday of july. For good public land otc bzone archery is the third saturday of August
