A few years ago, I was lucky enough to get a Colorado bear. The tannery lost the hide. After a few years of no updates we finally got some closure.
Shed hunting 3 years ago, I found a pretty nice fresh deadhead and gave it to my dad. He’s 0 for 11 I believe on elk hunts so far, so I wanted him to have an elk.
He went through the same taxidermist for the shoulder mount. They did the entire thing free of charge, and provided the hide as well.
