I’m looking for a later season insulated boot.

Something in the 200-400 gram range.

Boots I have had good success with fit:

Solomon 4d
Meindel perfekt hunter 400gram

Since they are not longer making the meindel from cabelas and the Salomon’s are far from a late season boot I’m left looking......

Give me some ideas!

Typical elk and deer country (not high timberline, scree stuff)

Crispi Hunter GTX. It has 200 grams of insulation. After using Browning boots, Danners (Pronghorns, Elk Ridge), Kenetrek ME, and finally the Crispi-the Crispi blows all the others away with comfort, and waterproofness.

Golfbum...They had new slightly changed Perfekt Hiker and Hunter Meindl's at Cabelas in Reno, NV in January, 2019. See my writeup on the other thread about them. Good luck.

X2 on the Crispi Hunters. I’ve tried em all, and Crispi beats them all. Different feet like different boots though, so you have to find what’s best for you
