I'm headed to Idaho to hunt mule deer this fall for the first time and am looking for clothing recommendations. I'm used to hunting in Wisconsin and sitting in the cold. I sweat a lot and know that hiking that terrain won't make that problem any better. I have been reading a lot of posts on here but thought I would just ask for opinions. Sporting goods stores around here don't have much of a selection of western hunting gear so any online retailers that you might recommend would also be appreciated. Thanks

Deer hunting where I live(central Idaho) can be anything from snow to 60 degree sunny days.
You will be hiking a lot so I basically wear my attacks, heavy merino top,add insulated bottoms and top if it's cold and always have rain gear and Gaiters. The rain gear also acts like a hard shell to keep you warm,if you plan on sitting and glassing a puff is nice to have and light.
