Just bought this while home visiting family in Indiana. Hauled it all the way back to Idaho. Can wait to actually get out and use it. It's 2002 Lowe aluminum with a 95 mercury 100 on the back. I couldn't pass it up for $5500. View attachment 302155View attachment 302158you can kinda see my other boat in the background. It's a classic accessories xlt pontoon View attachment 302206
I have pretty much the same boat. Bought mine back in April of 2020. We have loved every minute of it. Been pulling the kids on a tube this summer

What does that tank weigh? I got offered a pretty good deal on a smaller 16' aluminum starcraft that's outfitted well, but the idea of having a bigger boat intrigues me. Been seeing a few big center consoles popping up for low 20s here.
The boat loaded with fuel and tackle is probably 9k. Add ice, full water, full bait tank and 4 guys and Im well north of 10k

What's the Rokslide opinion on Trophy boats? Seeing a few trophy pro between 20-24ft for decent prices. All inboards though. I'd like to pick up a boat of my own before the Spring thaw next year. Looking for something that can be used most of the year in North Idaho, mostly for fishing Lake Pend Orielle and Couer D'lene lake.

I really like my 2359. I posted on the sencond page. The only thing I wish I could change was that it had a 350 outboard so I could run it more in cold weather. I really can’t say anything bad about it. It is the perfect layout for me. I am a troller and not a caster. If this motor blew up I’d strip this boat and restore it with an outboard.

What do you mean by this? I'm not too edumacated on boat engines.
I/0 motors that use lake water for cooling are more susceptible to freeze damage than an outboard. Every fall I have to spend a half of a day draining the block and filling it up with antifreeze and a few other things. I don’t dare use it again until all chance of freezing temps are gone. The outboards I have owned I just drain the water out of the lower unit on the boat ramp and call it good. I could use a outboard year round here and not worry about it.

I’ve been a Ranger walleye boat fan over the years, old and new. Loved em all except for the black 619 pictured. That thing was a turd. The blue 620 with Verado 250 was my favorite by far.

My favorite boat is my 18’ cataraft. I’ve had this raft now for over 25 years, it’s been trailered and flown all over the state of Alaska, from steelhead fishing on the Situk river in SE, to moose hunting on the Wulik river in NW Alaska, and many points in between. I’ve raised both my kids and two chocolate labs on this boat with my oldest son’s (now 18), first trip when he was 3 months, and my youngest first trip when she was 6 months. We’ve had many, many good river memories on this old girl.
