Ya, if you look around society these days.......the sheep and those trying to control the sheep are definitely angry. They're angry at conservatives because we believe in being independent, and in the freedom and liberty to make our own choices........regardless of the outcome from those choices. We don't believe in Nanny-states, Nanny-agencies, Nanny-organizations, or anyone else that thinks they need to take care of us. All these years of hunters looking down their noses at road hunters... turns out, they are the only smart ones, hunting from the safety of their vehicles... no bear attacks, no aerosolized mouse crap... are there any downsides?

With so many recognized medical authorities nationwide such as the C.D.C., Mayo Clinic, Washington State Department of Health, New York State Department of Health, recognized disease experts at UCSF Medical Center, as well as countless others, in addition to government agencies such as the National Park Service warning campers who use floorless shelters of the increased risks of exposure to not only Hantavirus, but other diseases transmitted by mice as well, it's amazing that any rational sportsman would ignore such warnings. We're not risking $50 on the roll of the dice at a craps table in Las Vegas, or squandering $10 on lotto tickets. The critical loss of one's health , or life for that matter, is clearly good reason for any rational, responsible adult to take "risk averse" precaution. But It's different this time, it couldn't possibly happen to you in your floorless tent or shelter, now could it ? .....

The medical industry does it's best to scare people into compliance. A simple scan of hard data will show how miniscule the risk actually is.
