Get a pair of the wool glove/mitten convertibles - they are very warm, stay warm when wet, finger tips exposed if you peel the mitten part back. I carry then whenever i hunt in the cold in case they are needed. Very warm.

I have poor circulation in my hands and they get cold easily. I settled on a pair of thick insulated gloves with fold-over mittens. The mitten part has a zippered pocket for a handwarmer. For duck hunting, I can keep all my fingers in the warm mitten, then slip out just the trigger finger when needed.
