How slow is too slow

Currently shooting #66 580 grain arrow but only getting 230fps. Is this too slow for elk. Shooting aluminum instead of carbon with 125 sevr broadheads. Proficient out to 50yds but want to stay ethical
 
20 years ago guys would have given their left nut to shoot 230fps. Speed is overrated. Accuracy kills.

Agree with others, would just add that the slower the flight the larger your flight arch will be, especially on longer shots, so you have to be aware of that when trees and limbs are in the flight path.
