Does anyone have hands on experience with integrally suppressed rifles?

Specifically Suppressed Weapon Systems (SWS) out of Houston, TX.

Looking for any insights/reviews on how the rifle shot (e.g., accuracy, weight, etc.).

Same. I understand that a major con for most is the inability to interchange the suppressor limiting it to a single rifle but that doesn't really bother me.

I’m glad I stumbled on this thread.

I have a decent amount of trigger time on five of their complete 5.56 guns that my department bought a few years ago. I have no complaints. Our guys love them.

Accuracy (well, precision, but you know…)
When we first got them I shot them with a scope and I remember they were about 1.5 to 2 moa guns, but I used duty ammo and ball ammo not my good target stuff. The T&E guns we had before buying were a 556 and a 300blk. I did shoot these with some better ammo and got moa groups from both. That was a few years ago and I do not recall what ammo I used. As for their promise of moa groups, I think they are honest.

Balance
These guns balance better than my traditional SBR/suppressor combinations. There does not seem to be near the front-heavy feel that my Noveske has when I screw a can on it.

Complaints
The troops commented on the gas-in-the-face issue that most all suppressed guns have. It is about like my Omega 300, maybe a bit less. In other words, it isn’t nearly as bad as other guns I’ve shot. I want to add gas-buster charge handles and see what happens, just gotta get the boss to OK the money.

Quietness
They seem every bit as quiet as my SBR with either my Omega 300 or my 762-SDN-6.

Reliability
These run like clocks. We use Federal LE223T3 duty loads and for practice we use whatever ball ammo we can the cheapest.

All in all, I llike our guns very much.

Additional thought… If you have them make you a rifle or upper, see if they can use a carbon fiber hand guard. The aluminum ones get a bit toasty to hold onto if you do a few mags through them in a shorter time.

Coda Evolution is my go-to for carbon fiber fore ends. I’ve also used a Tac-Star and it worked well also.

I looked into it quite a bit for the last rifle I put together.(bolt gun) At the end of the day there was no reduction in length at all, as the minimum barrel length for the cartridge was the same if it was integrally suppressed or screw on and then the amount past the end of the barrel is also more or less the same. Making the overall length, the same. Which, imo, eliminates any reason to do an integral.

Sounds like more development work is needed then. Or at least the trade off discussion of various metrics (i.e. muzzle velocity vs noise).

It seems highly unlikely an optimized integrated solution shouldn't be able to have improvements over a modular approach.

In my career as an engineer, the only times that "seems" to happen is when significant mistakes have been made.

Ya, I thought it was the solution to the barrel length problem as well, but I talked to both companies that do a bunch of them here in the states and in both cases the overall length was coming out the same.
The best option I've seen so far is a shorter suppressor with reflex.

I have a .44 mag Ruger bolt. I shoot 300 gr 44 special out of it. Super quiet. I mean, very, very. The penetration is fantastic but there is no expansion. It is heavy, big, not that much fun to carry. But it is accurate, deadly, and makes almost no noise. It is fun to shoot.
