I'm feeling so much better today, about 90%. Just one of those 24 hour bugs. I'm so glad that I had it yesterday and not on the first day of the hunt, that would of sucked. I think that I'll pass on lifting weights today. Mondays are my weights day. I usually do bis, tris, shoulders, abs, and legs at 4 sets of 10-15 reps ( failure ) and 30 seconds between sets. The workout usually takes me about 1 hour and 20 minutes.Today I'm going the grocery store and getting the last things ill need for the hunt and shooting distances with my bow at the range. I'm getting so excited, it's 2 days away! Check back later as I will be posting gear check.

I'm having a dilemma on which boots I should wear. What would you guys do, wear the Crispi's which are an early season boot with great support and lightweight or the Danners that are all leather and insulated but not as good on support? The weather is going to be 53/23 average on highs and lows

Which is more comfortable?

Hey Slim are your foot Warmers the thin hand warmer type shaped into a foot. If they are and you have not figured out how to use them I wouldn't pack them.

The ones I am talking about didn't work and turned into an absolute mess inside my boot one year. Plus with those temps your feet should be ok.

I just plan on using them in my bag for my feet at night because my bag is only rated 32 degrees and it is supposed to get down to 20 degrees the first two nights

That is a great use for them. I have used the larger, 4x4 inch size in my bag and it makes an incredible difference.

I went shooting this morning out to 80 yards for the last time before the hunt. My groups out to 60 were good.
