Hello I’m new to Rokslide. I’m a Virginia mountain hunter that thrives on backpacking in and killing bucks deep in these public mountains. Here’s a couple pictures of my mountain buck from last year. Welcome and thanks for answering the other topic about where to shoot big bucks! Who knew it was Virginia?

I thought everyone knew a big buck was behind every tree in VA! No effort required haha

I never leave the house without it or a millennium tree seat. I got tired of trying to cape skin bucks on the ground and the struggle of getting a mature whitetail hung up without help. Sadly I don’t have any bow pictures as normally my bow hunting is just a bunch of scouting. I take the month of November off and enjoy hunting with my muzzleloader and rifle. Honestly I should carry my bow more often as I killed this buck at only 22 yards.

Welcome. Your backdrop looks familiar. That's a stud for VA Public ground. They are out there, but few and far between. A 150 is something a lot of guys have never even seen around here.
