Pac boots, what's good?

Me too. I have the Hunter II and love those boots. Very comfortable to wear and my feet stay plenty warm and dry.

I've had Schnee's Hunter II's for prob 15yrs, I live in them from Oct thru March in both my professional and personal pursuits. I get about 2-3 winters between rebuilds due to the flex points cracking but the lightweight winter boot with removable liner option is something I like and I have good luck using them with snowshoes too. I haven't needed customer service for years, but when I did they were very good to deal with. They may have priced me out though, they are not as cheap as the used to be and $100 rebuilds add up if you wear them alot!

I ended up just going with these Hoffman Guide/Outbacks today. Time will tell and I can report back on my experience. Appreciate all the input.

Do these have a stiff sole or soft sole? Looking for stiffer.
