I live and hunt in the west, however my parents recently moved to Charleston, SC. I would like to hunt out there in the next few years. Any good guide recommendations? Is there a site or organization to find reputable guides. I am fine hunting private land but the only sites I can find on Google are high fence “canned” hunts. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks

Black Water Hunting services in the Lowcountry. They are across the highway from our club and kill some very nice deer every year.

All your guided hunts will be on private. Hunting from permanent stands over food plots, feeders, or agriculture. You’ll hunt 2-3 hours in the morning and 2-3 hours in the evening. Do your research. There are some really good operations and some really really bad ones.

Cherokee Run is a good one to go with. Never hunted there myself but I do have friends that have. They have some big pigs as well. Its in chesterfield which is somewhat far from Charleston though.
