Just got my first tikka rifle. gotta say, I am very impressed. I got it in 243, and I'm going to use it mainly for coyotes, maybe an occasional deer or 2.

Not a bad looking piece of wood on that one, you’re gonna love it.

Congrats! That .243 is more than capable for varmints up to elk and everything in between. If you got it in 1:8 twist, you can reload the heavies up to 115.

My only suggestion would be to swap that hard recoil pad with a limbsaver, but not a necessity.
