Bad news gym raised fee’s , looks like crossfits out for me as far as a gym goes. I have a rack and weights so its garage wod time. Yesterday 4 miles in the high stuff

4 miles (800’) with my wife and Tiny Elvis.

We almost got run over by a decent sized mule deer buck- scared the crap out of us! Deer was running for his life, looked behind him and there’s a dog sprinting behind. Dog saw me, stopped and started running the opposite way. I waited five minutes thinking I’d see the owner and have a few words. We were just about to continue on our way and I saw the dog and owner. Let her know that her dog was probably a half mile ahead of her chasing a deer and that it was unlawful. She didn’t seem overly concerned, so I told her that her dog could be shot for doing so. That seemed to make her a little more concerned.

This Hero WOD is dedicated to Sgt. 1st Class Will D. Lindsay, 33, who paid the ultimate sacrifice on March 22, 2019. Sgt. 1st Class Lindsay was a Green Beret of the 2nd Battalion, 10th Special Forces group, on his seventh combat deployment when he was killed by small arms fire during a firefight in Kunduz province, Afghanistan. A recipient of five Bronze Star medals and a Purple Heart, SFC Lindsay was well-recognized for his leadership abilities and combat skills. SFC Lindsay is survived by his wife and four daughters.
