Would you buy a rifle with a couple spots in the bore?

I’m looking at a 1970’s lever gun and the owner says there’s a couple of marks in the bore but that it still shoots well.

Assuming accuracy isn’t an issue, Would y’all buy a rifle like that?

What kind of marks in the bore? Is it definitely pitting? Could it be stubborn residue in a few spots? I look at it from the standpoint of the full length of the bore and a few little spots along the way shouldn't be any kind of deterrent to accuracy, which he says is the case. What rifle is it?

I bought a old British.303 that had shot? Of corrosive prime ammunition
and had some pits , after a good cleaning it was a 100% accurate to 250-300 meters, shoot @ 100 range and find out how it does

My 1946 Pre-64 '06 fell victim to corrosive primers. One previous owner before I bought it last year. Don't know the last time it had been cleaned, but not in the last 30+ yrs, lol. Visible pitting looking in the muzzle and I'm sure it's throughout the bore. Still shoots well enough for a hunting gun!
