Not sure what happened to this doe. Coyote got her by the throat, maybe she snagged it on a fence... Had several pics of her like this. Shot her 3 or 4 days later, same day I saw the pics.

I don't shoot does very often, especially young ones, but I doubt she would have made it thru the winter.

This normally wouldn’t be crazy, but this was taken in southeast Nebraska lol. The only part of the state that has elk is way west in the panhandle. This one meandered down here sometime and holed up on my land for a few days.

Reminds me of guys here getting pics of cougars, and the DNR denying them.

Not long ago, they denied bears being in my area.
