As much as I don't like pew science and think there's something going on there, the enticer LTi is the quietest can at the shooters ear that they've tested. I'm interested in the otter creek cans too. Hell, I'm interested in all of them! These quick approvals lately aren't helping me save money!

Same. I have a scythe on order and 5 cans already but if I could do an individual on something I wouldn’t normally buy and potentially have it in a few weeks….

Couldn’t help myself and ordered a 3 port anchor brake for mine to see if it reduces recoil even more. So I have the flat cap and 3 port now to fight with the one port brake.

I suck at spotting shots so I’m trying to take any help I can get.

Mine was back ordered when I got it. It took about a month for the dealer to get it.

Picked up a Scythe and DD Wolfhunter yesterday in part to this thread. Thanks guys. FYI - Capital Armory had 55 left when I ordered yesterday afternoon per the guy I was speaking with. I know there's another rokslider who bought one so we're at 53 now. Only thing I'm hoping for is that I can get lucky like the rest of these guys getting quick approvals.

I picked up the bravo 3 port brake to see if it makes a difference or not. If anything I'm wondering if it will help gas escape better for gas guns and I wouldn't mind more recoil mitigation on my 300prc.

Its also surprising the difference just a few ounces at the end of the barrel makes to the overall balance. The Scythe TI on my Grendel doesn't really affect the balance more than a slightly noticeable amount, toss a TBAC ultra 9 on the end and it feels wildly unbalanced.

I noticed this as well. My other can is about 14 ounces with the mount and 9 inches. and makes my 18" bolt gun feel front heavy. With the Scythe screwed on it feels just like a normal 22-24" barrel rifle and balances excellently.

This rifle is right at 8 pounds scoped with the scythe mounted up. About perfect for a backcountry rifle.

I know there's another rokslider who bought one so we're at 53 now.

They're actually moving faster than that, I was playing around with the shopping cart quantity and they're already down to 26.

Thanks for the reviews on this one everyone! I have been putting off buying a “better one” for a while now. Excited to cut some weight/length off. Will compare to omega and banish 30 cals this week on a few different rifles.

Tried the 3 port brake with mine on a 18” 6 creed. Didn’t shoot it back to back in other configs but it seemed to do what one would expect- reduce recoil and make more noise. The noise increase was enough that I don’t think I’ll choose to continue in this configuration.

Think you'll try it on a bigger gun? I'm contemplating ordering it for mine just to see what it does on magnums.

Hybrid 46 and old school Specwar 762 for comparison

Anybody shot the new Jolene s? I have a scythe in jail thinking about picking up a Jolene s to go along with it.

Shot mine today side by side with my Specwar 762 on an 11.85” 556 piston driven sbr. Sound was very comparable. The Specwar might have the slight edge, but it’s also much heavier and longer. Overall I’m impressed.

Side note- it did get hot much faster, but also cooled much faster.

The Scythe is quieter than the Gen 1 Ultra 7 and weights the same as the Ultra 5. I will get out and compare it to the Dominus, CGS and AB can soon.
