30/06 factory load?

I have always used federal 180 grain np In my 30/06 mountain rifle and think i want to stay with a partition.I was wondering about the nosler 150 grain.I hunt whitetails 90 % of the time with max of around 300 yards.
Any experience with the nosler 150 partitions?

Nothing wrong with a 150g partition out of a 30-06.

Why are you interested in changing? Nothing wrong with the 180 gr Federal NP.

If you’re hunting whitetails most of the time then I think the 150 gr would be a great choice. I haven’t shot the factory ammo but played around with it in my reloads and saw good accuracy.

Stick with the 180's.

I hunt whitetails and use 150 gr Sierra pro hunters. 150 is more than enough and the 150 partitions work great. Used partitions before stepping "down" to the Sierras.

Furthest shot for Sierra was 350 speed goat and 225 whitetail. Very accurate bullet.
