I have some public ground in WI I often visit while bowhunting. I often prefer to be a little more light weight and most of this particular parcel is open CRP grass so those bringing in climbers tend to be in the same areas. I have a ground blind I can and have set up but also I like to spot and stalk but looking for something a bit more concealing. My plan is to come in with regular camo, spot with optics, put on the suit and move in. I was thinking the ASAT leafy suit but was wondering if anyone else had used something better.

Take a look at the Rancho Safari suits and hat. Lots of good reviews and they seem effective.

+1

I've had some very exciting and close encounters in my Rancho Safari ghillie. Killed a couple deer and turkeys while wearing it. Sometimes I hate just sitting in a tree and need to walk around. Adds a whole new element. Have fun!

another option that I use is to just sew burlap and other material onto an old hunting jacket. I made one like that and it is way more comfortable to wear than my store bought ghillie.

X3 on ASAT leafy suit. Wear it with shorts and T in summer and puffy in winter. Only camo you will need. Burned a small hole in the inner thighs from spot and stalk over hills in Cali though. Mostly just wear the jacket and face mask with FL ASAT pants now when I know I'm hiking 10 miles a day. Deer just stare at you and go back to feeding. Looks ugly to humans but who care since it for the ungulates. For $120 to have year round camo I can't recomend enough.

I needed to wash it about 5 times and dry it with tennis balls before it "relaxed and got quiet"
