Holster suggestions

Hood not an issue, pockets will be, but relatively simple work around, I’m never in that big of a hurry getting stuff out of my pockets. No issue at all with retention, falling etc.

FWIW, all of my pistol practice- Draw and fire is from my belt. I added a couple web loops between the belt mount and the index holster so I can run that holster on my pack belt or on a pants belt. I use a cheap Amazon model- they have a couple good ones for under $30.

Worth putting a couple strips of moleskin on the outside of the belt mount so it doesn't squeak when on my pack belt.

Chest rig is nice if you are fishing...but it gets in the way of my binos when hunting.

I like the gunfighters inc kenai holsters. Those diamond custom guide holsters are very nice but none squeaks under my backpack shoulder straps no matter how I adjust it.

+1 for Gunfighters Inc Kenai, no problem running it under my bino harness.
