I have a lot of nerve damage and pain in feet and legs to go with it. Tried the ice baths 4 times and didn't do much for me. Tens unit helps me tremendously along with lidocaine lotion and patches. Switch to lotion because the over counter 4 percent lidocaine patches don't stick very well. If it's where you can stick a patch and wrap an ace bandage to keep it on it helps. Found the 4 percent cream on Amazon and love it. Tens units if it has multiple settings for pain and after work out etc is excellent. I have a Auvon and it's a jewel.

my brother in law is a high profile MMA fighter, he swears by the cold plunge....diet definitely plays a role like others have said. Unless it gets real bad I'm not getting in one lol. I will stick with ice packs when needed.
