"My go to Load is 65.5 W760 with a Fed215 primer and 180gr CT Failsafe (dont' make anymore) but I bought a ton of them years ago......too many one shot kills to remember on about any big game out there (Moose, Elk, Deer)"
PaLongshank

I still have some 30 cal 165grain Failsafes as well. Not a high ballistic coefficient type bullet but they have put some of the largest holes through animals I have seen.

Here's a group of 3 at 100 with a 195 Tipped Matchking at 2950fps and an SD of 3 using 68.3 gr of RL26. But I ended up going with the Berger 215s at 2838 avg for 1/2 moa accuracy and an SD of 4 over 66.5gr of RL 26 that held its accuracy out to 1278yds. IMG_20180502_170302598.jpg

Mine like IMR 4350 under a 200 gr accubond. I believe it’s .5 under max. Cloverleaf groups...

If you end up wanting some more brand new already chamfered never fired Bertram brass let me know. I got a bunch atleast 150 I’ll sell at $1 a round or if anyone else wants some as well.

I will say RL-26 has gotten me 3180 fps with 178 eldx and just over 2900 fps with 212 eldx from a 24” barrel 300 wsm.

Have you loaded any out of the lot you're selling? I bought a hundred and fifty of them and a bunch of them are JUNK. I would like to give it another try, but I'd rather buy from an open package that has a lot history.

What is your barrel length and are you loading in a short action with the 215 pushed down into the case?

Thanks!!

Any updates? Got a new tikka t3x superlite and plan on feeding it 175gr LRX in Norma brass, cci 250, and sta-ball 6.5, h4350, h4831sc, hybrid 100v, or superformance. Loadingvto mag length. Anyone have any luck with these?

300wsm 175LRX Norma 1x fired, FEDGM215M, 2.090 case trim length, 2.175" BTO gives .11 jump, with Staball
65.8gr = 2990, 2992
66.8 = 3068,
67.8 = 3087
68.2 = 3105, 3101
68.6 = 3118, 3108
68.8 = 3112, 3121

300WSM as above 68.2gr = 3082, 68.4 = 3105, 68.6 = 3111. I shot 68.4

300WSM:
Staball at 68.4gr, FEDgm215m, Norma case at 2.090", 175gr LRX at 2.175"BTO, 3100fps 23" Xbolt

Tikka t3x superlite 300wsm, Barnes 175gr lrx, seated ogive at 2.234 to fit in factory mag. Staball 6.5 at 67.5 (stiff bolt), 67.9 (stiffer bolt), 68.3 (super stiff bolt). Outside temp was about 35-40 degrees, overcast, some fog at times, southeast wind, at about 4300ft elevation. Caldwell Chrono was useless due to over cast, first shot was 67.5gr going 3100fps, second shot 67.5gr going 3938fps…so yea, not going off that. But my question, if any of you experience, did you guys show pressure signs at/about 67.5gr., I had a stiff bolt and bolt marks on the brass, fatten primers. When I got home I pulled the rest of the projectiles and noticed the powder was clump/stuck inside the case. Tapping it didn’t break it apart, I had to use a paper clip to break it apart to pour it out of the cases. You can see the chunks in the pictures. My suspicion is that it’s due to the cold temps. Any ideas about it clumping up also? Thanks.
