Hi all,

Hunter from the State College area. Interested in whitetail and any other local big game. Recently, went in a successful moose hunt in Alberta and now have the itch to do a diy AK moose hunt among other trips. Starting the planning phase now and this forum has been a wealth of knowledge (Thanks!!). Will likely be soliciting a hunt partner at some point soon too for all you other dreamers of giant moose

I lived in State College for 4 years while I was finishing my undergrad and masters degree. Also, got a minor in nymphing on spring creek (stupid fly fishing joke over used by Penn Staters). I very much miss hunting and fishing around the state college area.

Great stuff ! Happy Valley is a place like no other. I’m particularly fond of the outdoor opportunities around Raystown Lake as well
