Release Issues

Dudley addresses this in his most recent podcast. He says the angle the release releases the string and direction of the power band can be slightly different release to release. When I shoot my silver back I just shoot for groups as I use my Nock2it for my primary release. I to get my arrows hitting 4" to the right. Dudley said lefts are common to when switching releases.

Got an email back from Forrest Carter. He suggested putting a drop of rem oil at the bottom of the jaw where it meets the sear. I did that and ran the release through several cycles. It made a world of difference and I had to really tighten down the spring. My rights have really dwindled and now I feel good about the release. He suggested doing that once a month (assuming you are shooting regularly).
