I always hunt with a long sleeve camo t-shirt over top, under orange vest. The front pocket is sewed on by my mom. (Great for putting turkey call in) The current shirt is about 18 years old. Time for a new one, I will have mom cut a piece of that fabric and make a new pocket for next shirt. Keeps those old memories in new shirt. Used to carry my dad's old buck knife fixed blade with the black handle. Not since I started backpacking though. Nice to have something tangible to feel the connection to the past.

I don’t for out west, but have one with me in PA. When I was a kid somebody put a newspaper clip of a pic of a whitetail buck. My dad always said he didn’t do it. Can’t imagine one of the other adults in camp would do it.

Don’t know how old it is, but opposite side has a book review article from a book published 1975-79. Which adds to the mystery because I didn’t get my first license till 1983. Nonetheless, I have carried with my PA license ever since.IMG_2314.jpeg
