Travel trailer questions

Oh and don't mess with towing with a 1500, I told myself it was fine. Then I bought a 2500 this year. What a difference. My 1500 was struggling up the passes.

Geez. This thread really reinforced my plan to build out a cargo trailer vs buying a travel trailer

A buddy of mine did just that . He uses it for fishing expeditions. Its bullet proof. He installed only what was needed. Bunks , counter top, some storage , Lil Buddy heater , water storage. He cooks outside but when it rains he uses the countertop for his propane stove. Small solar panel and battery, a couple LED lights. Killer set up for huntin / fishing . Its Bullet proof ! Most trailers rattle the inner works right off of the walls and Leak Water in no time at all.
