Pretty happy with my Tikka T3 lite in .338 win mag. I’ve killed lots of elk with this caliber and I’m convinced that it’s perfect for the job. Long range, close range, broadside, quartering, it just gets the job done. Efficiently. Effectively.

1960 savage 99F. A tack driver. 308. Great trigger. Merit aperture sight. I hunt timber when rifle elk. I love the balance of this rifle. When I first got it there was a scope on it. Before I removed the scope I spent some time on the range and it is a wonderfully accurate rifle. I run with 165grn premium coppers with good results .
