Trumpkin, a stream or spring. Water is the only way to do it up there.

You have to soak it out of the cape later, or I have heard putting it in the clothes washer on cold gentle cycle will work. I know it works on mountain goat skins.

Wow! Beautiful ram. I've always wondered, what is the best way to clean up blood on Dall sheep? Water? Wipe it off with your hands?

We used water and tried our best but it was fairly hard to get it all off. He was spewing blood from his mouth and if you look at the rocks in the picture above him you can see how much he lost. His left horn was completely red from the lung blood coming out of his mouth.
