Congrats! 1000x over the best thing we did for our 3yo is start a mutual fund for him when he was born. Instead of toys for bdays our family and friends are happy to contribute to that, and we put in a pretty good monthly distribution. The kid has enough money already for a year of college thanks to compounding interest.

Go buy a lifetime license for her. They are relatively cheap when they are that young and even if she never uses it, its a drop in the bucket.

There are only 3 things I sincerely regret in this life and not buying my lifetime license when I was in Idaho is one of them.

Congratulations! You’ll never view the world through the same lens. My daughter rode in a moby wrap or a sling until she could ride in the Kelty pack. She shot her first deer last year and first elk this fall. It goes too fast.
