Had a good weekend of scouting turkey. We will be hunting highly pressured public land but we have about 6 different plans for the start of our hunt. Hunter will kick off the youth hunt this Saturday, I'll be calling and behind the camera.

Really starting to get dialed in and the Ironmind course is helping. Golf tee, for size reference, is holding up the paper spot. 3 arrow group at 50 yards.

Les, my son Kaleb got it done this morning. We roosted several birds last night. The winds have been brutal...basically a full moon so I was not too optimistic. But three long beards did pretty much what I hoped they'd do and Kaleb gauged this one as they charged the HUD. 8 steps.

Nothing better than watching your kids harvest an animal. I love helping my kids fill a tag! My wife has never been interested in hunting and then out of the blue she went online and took a hunters safety course and told me she wants to go deer hunting with me this year. I hope she enjoys it.
