Another hunter got mauled on Tuesday in the Gravelly's. About 8 miles from where the attacks were last week.

Spray bullets...not pepper

Both bullets and pepper were sprayed. Both were effective in stopping the maulings.

I posted in the other grizzly attack thread that I talked to a friend of the guy who was attacked. He shot it multiple times with a 45, including several to the head, and he said it didn't seem to phase the bear. Tore his foot up pretty good and puncture wounds to his thigh. Still waiting to hear back what loads he was using in his 45.
