No pic but with the door unzipped, stick 2 trekking poles upside down in the bottom tabs. Position handles on the ground. Boom, big ol awning.

Curious what you mean, Im trying to come up with a good "awning" set up for my SO Cim. Are the "bottom tabs" on your hudson or poles or awning tarp?

Sorry. Use the stake loops (tabs on the hudson) that are at the bottom of the zipper.
You can adjust the poles to get better shade. If you zip the door closed a bit, you can narrow the gap on top.
