The Tentipi Safirflex 15 is a tipi-style center-pole tent that provides easy set up and a large footprint. One guy can set this tent up in 10-15 minutes.  Due to the Safirflex versatile set-up options, it’s perfect for hunting in all weather types, from hot summer to cold winter weather and everything in between.

One big advantage of tipi style tents is their ability to shed rain/snow without requiring a tarp cover. This is due to their steep wall angles that don’t give water a chance to pool before running off.

The Safirflex is made from a lightweight canvas that just about eliminates condensation issues.  Compared to sil-nylon construction, canvas breathes much better and you’ll be hard pressed to get it to drip.

The tent has a huge 20’ diameter with the equivalent of a 9’x9’ space to stand up in.  Lift the sides and the tent can shelter over 500 square feet—think big hunting camps where everyone wants to gather for dinner, or (get this) around an open fire under the Safirflex 15. You read that right, with the ability to raise the cap by drawcords, users can enjoy an open fire in the Safirflex 15 no matter the configuration: open sides or closed.  An incredible option not available in any other design in the industry.

Robby Denning recently used the Safirflex 15 on a late season mule deer hunt. In the nine days of the hunt, he experienced everything from wet snow and cold to warm sunny days. He gives a complete wrap-up on the Safirflex 15 in the video below.  The Tentipi Safirflex 15, and a complete line up of other Tentipi tents, is offered exclusively through Mansfield Outdoors.  Check them out here

Robby Denning
Robby Denning started hunting mule deer in the late 1970’s, only missing one season in 35 years. At 25, he gave up the pursuit of all other big-game to focus on taking the best bucks possible. He began hunting the West on a DIY budget hunting an average of 30 days a year for mule deer. Robby loves the hunt as much as the kill and the entire process from research to scouting to hunting. He’s killed four bucks over 200 inches in the last 15 seasons, mostly on easily-obtained tags. He owns a public-land scouting service and runs a private-land outfitting business helping other hunters in their pursuit of deer and elk. Robby has scouted and hunted literally thousands of square miles of mule deer country and brings a wealth of knowledge about these experiences with him. To him, the weapon of choice is just a means-to-an-end and will hunt with bow, rifle, or muzzleloader – whatever it takes to create an opportunity to take a great mule deer. He is also the author of "Hunting Big Mule Deer" available on Amazon. Robby believes all of creation is from God for man to manage, respect, and through which to know its Creator
